"Tropic Thunder"

Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey, Tom Cruise

Classed as an Action Comedy more like a spoof... some really funny bits in it :crybaby:

Watched 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' last night (found this pic below in google of leading actress) thought it was a good flick but needed a little more, was interesting up to mist which was cool but preferred Iron dude. Also I may be biased as I recently watched 'The Happening' which features a familiar theme. :original:

Saw Marley & Me today. Pretty good until the last 1/2 hour when the wife was in tears the whole time.

Also saw 4 Holidays. Well worth it if you are after a laugh.

I had trepidations about this....but its not bad for stiller, I just cant take to the lame ass Saturday night live humour but it was pretty good in bits....Cruise did a bloody good job in it as well I reckon.

Saw marley and me today thought it was good, if you own a labrador or have ever owned one im sure you will find some very funny scenes in this movie. I have a lab and I know alot of the scenes I can relate to.

Watched "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with Keanu Reeves. Boring, don't pay to watch. The plot is too straight forward and predictable. Stars John Cleese for about 3 minutes, would've been better if he was in it for longer even though it was a serious role.

Im with everyone "The Day the Earth Stood Still" was fairly boring and predictble, ending was crap.. Wait for the dvd, or download for sure...

Also saw "Bedtime stories" I reckon it was pretty funny, could have been better but it is a movie the kids can watch....

Watched some good ones while on holidays:

Valkyrie is a great flick about one of the 30 odd assassination attempts on Adolf Hitler during WWII. Tom Cruise does a pretty good job actually. Definaltey watch it.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was a bit weird but a good movie. It seems to go forever but is interesting if you like the whole life journey movie. Worth a watch.

Seven Pounds is the new Will Smith movie. f*cking heart wrenching, even tuff blokes like Headsex will ball their eyes out watching this one. Great movie to watch if you're tryna hook into a chickybabe.

The Wrestler is a fantastic movie. Mikey Rourke plays the part with his f*cked up plastic surgery face, but the ending could have been a little better, but never the less, he should get some awards for this one. Definately a good watch.

Revolutionary Road was another great flick. One to watch with the wife as it dives into some great husband/wife arguements that everyone has. This is a must see fo shizzle.

Changleling is a new Angelina Jolie movie directed by Clint Eastwood. It is rated very highly by a lot of viewers on the web, but most critics bagged it. Overall a good watch if you're into the dramas.

Get watching... :beerchug:

da gurly came home with Wall E - watched for the 2nd time... now that its on DVD - GO AND GET IT AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!!!

STILL SAY ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

And the deleted scenes - all of two are not bad either!

also came home with - Taken... good serious movie, with a side where you can relate and find much of it believable... some fighting scenes are a little typical of block buster movie, however the story line isnt a bad one at all!!!

worth a watch on dvd as well!!!
