They can fly from the other side of the universe but when they get here their drones cant see and can only hear a radio and they all fall out of the sky if one ship is blown up.... Posted 25/04/11 02:22 AM Share Posted 25/04/11 02:22 AM Took EiD to see 'PAUL' the other day, bloody brilliant, if you are into the pop culture of UFO''s, science fiction etc; you will love it. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost do a superb job of moulding every reference they can of the culture into the plot and add heaps of humour as well. Paul is the coolest alien ever, loved the character. Heaps of cameo's keep an ear out for Stephen Speilberg's voice and the best cameo is of the dame of si-fi herself, excellent.The special effects to produce Paul are so real, very believable.This will definately end up in my blu-ray collection. A hobo wanted to start a Jims Mowing franchise, he went into Cash Converters to buy a mower for $49, someone was robbing the place, and there was a shotgun for sale on the wall for $49 as well!!! Coincidence, maybe.... So yeah, he turned into a renegade crime fixer, went around and shot all the bad guys in town. Paid for the shotgun too.Happy ending!
