Interested in these as well - went and found the article and they certainly stack up. As my Dunlops have just about had the neville........(funny how fast the back ones wear out - can never seem to rotate them quick enough) they might be a good bet. CANNOT be worse than what's on there currently - mind you - was very impressed with the set of Toyo's had on the last T.

Were they the Toyo T1R's, they're a good tyre. The Dunlop Sport Maxx have been a great tyre, they've done 31,000km, my only complaint is the tyre noise. The Marangoni appear to be a much quieter tyre with similar performance and this is what I'm looking for.

Was running the Trampio GuWn's - they look very similar to the Mythos in block design.....any idea what the Toyo Proxes 4's are like? (http://www.toyo.com.au/)

Dunlops on mine have done 33,000 - feel as though they're getting hard; starting to tramline more noteably now. Not to speak of tread depth challenges coming up within 5000k's. Anyway - time to start sniffing around....

I got mine from Ozy Tryres & they would have to be the stickest street tyre I have used.

The side walls are higher then other brands in same size for eg; 245x35x19 in Hankook fit on the front but in the Marangoni they rub due to the wall height. The 275x30x19 are perfect on the rear.

So does anyone have info about who sells these in QLD?

One of the bigger tyre chains maybe?

I got mine from JaxQuickfit here on the Gold Coast, $280each fitted and balanced.

Don't pay for that for them, there is obviously a big mark up. I got quoted $420 a tyre from Ian Diffens and booked the car in, waited half an hour and rang back and told them another branch had quoted $320 which was a little white lie, and so I got them for $330 each. Bloody good tyre even at $420 though, but ring around and haggle a bit and you may find yourself $350 or more better off.
