Have you told him of your 1/4 time? It would seem stupid for someone to ask you for a cash bet if they wern't fairly confident that they would beat you. Maybe there's more done to the car than is being disclosed.

Maybe its just a friendly bett and he can afford the money, best of luck with it mate. Sounds like you could convince the missus to invest $5000 dollars to earn $1000.

Since were getting a bit serious and racing for money......

Make sure you work on your reaction times too....my guess is that he isnt a regular racer and probably wont really farmilarise himself with the tree......

A good holeshot has won many a race but a slower car......dont let him get you on the startline.

GT's weigh more than XR6T's. You have more power and torque than he does, that's providing he only has the edit done he should be in the viscinity of 250 to 270rwkw I dont think you will have any problems to beat him!

Put some street slicks on to be safe, make sure you get a sling shot launch and he will be in your rear veiw mirror getting smaller!

At the end of the day it's all in fun

Would be funny if he had a big fat blower under the bonnet too...... They all know that the T's go harder... Sounds like a setup.... EDITED????????
