gilto Member 218 Member For: 17y 5m 15d Gender: Male Posted 27/12/07 06:47 AM Share Posted 27/12/07 06:47 AM Well as a few of you know my mate forced a cd into my premium sound and buggered it up....Rang Fraud and was quoted between $500 - over $1000 depending on whats wrong with it.I thought gosh it can't be that hard to get the cd's out if I can get to the stacker....SO...Pulled the ICC out and had the whole thing apart. Used a sewing screwdriver to open up the stacker itself. From the back of the unit I managed to push out the jammed cd plus the others through the front opening.Put it back together and presto!!!! Miracle!!!!Now it did take most of the day (I'm very careful), but it saved me a tonne of cash and I have the satisfaction of fixing what the local ford dealers can't..... This suited me as the premo screen was badly scratched. And as you said, with a little bit of care you can save yourself a fortune by doing this yourself.
