An update.

They installed new pcm today.

Now there IDS is reading the pcm (WOOHOO) but....

They still can't get the ute to start. I think that they dun really know what there doing and haven't done all the programming side of things.

They have til 5pm tomorrow coz after that I need it to get to work :S.

I don't like my chances..

WELL.... the ute is ALIVE!!!

Ok, the ute now starts. The technition said he "thinks" it was a loose wire in the left hand kick panel plug.

He said this loose wire must have cause the pcm to fry as he can't get my old one to work.

Now, everything is fine ACCEPT, the speedo doesn't work and it doesn't change gears. Any ideas as to what this could be? I'm hoping he just hasn't plugged something in. He said he thinks that its a programming error..... It better not be the ABs module :(

Any ideas guys?

Cheers

OK, I have the ute back now, all fixed, I think it was that vid-block.

Now another question, as it now has the new pcm am I going to be able to still use my edit box?

will it be safe to use?

regards
