You have placed a different spin on it compared to what I was told by Kevin at Process West. At the end of the day it's the old saying "you play you pay". We had a dead stock manual XR6T ute and did before and after (within 20 mins) of each other and saw about 28kw atws difference with no tune. And I have repeated this test on 2 other cars since. Its all in this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...t=0#entry495645Unlike one of my competitors I do test products and back it up with data....not fabricated figures from my arse.Kev Edited 24/12/07 10:50 AM by Process West

That said, I still havent learnt this over the past 4 years so I dunno how you should take that comment!!Edit and a decent tune® would 110% be the most effective power mod but since you've just spent 40-50K on a car it doesnt make sense to skimp on the "safety mods". Stuff like fmic, injectors, fuel pump that dont actually give you more power (well a fmic may but I'll let others argue that!) but allow's you to "access" decent power AND RELIABILITY.Sure you gotta save a bit harder (and this is hard trust me!), but if your feeling confident hit cas, lay that G down on black and pray for two good spins :-D

Obviously with what you spend on a car you more than likely lose. I was only thinking that seeing my front bumper had to come off for a re-spray, why not put on a new cooler? I was told it could give me a about 25kw gain without a re-tune and it was a simple bolt off bolt on procedure. I thought why not and I'd ask the public's opinion. Thanks for the advice and do you have a tip of whether black or red for the cas?
