Newbie I am, and proud of it.

Thanks for the welcome folks...hopefully when I get some spare time (when I'm not driving around in my new XR6T) I might be able to contribute something to this awesome forum.

Oh, and I got the best option of all....custom plates "PYM"

I would have loved Premium brakes, Satellite Navigation and the Sunroof, but I had to draw the line somewhere. Once I added leather, 18s, sports steering wheel, and premium sound the cost was really getting up there.

Besides considering *I can drive from one coast of Tassie to the other with my eyes shut* I don’t think I’d get much use out of sat nav. Would have been a nice gadget to impress the mates with though! :D

As for the brakes I haven’t had any probs with standards yet, but I guess it’s only a matter of time. In the event that they do start to shudder, I'll look at aftermarket options.

*Disclaimer: Driving an XR6T with your eyes shut is neither funny nor clever

I would have gone the brakes and Sunroof if the $$ would have streached...

But alas they did not. So the Auto with Premium sound was the go...

Ordered mine today!!

I was having trouble deciding on the options last night, but reading this thread helped a lot!

Now all I have to do is wait.......

Roll on October!!!
