I've actually changed my mind on my options (may change back after more mulling around). Since I live in Canberra, there isn't really that much need for sat nav. I even seem to find my way around sydney and other places with not much problems. So I've decided to drop Sat nav from the options and add Premium Brakes (mostly because of the worrying shudder problems I have read about) and sports steering wheel. However, as most of you may know, 3 months is a long way off and people do change their minds...

I made a similar decision after I had decided on my first option list. I'd like the Sat Nav, but really wanted the premium brakes.

I made the decision about the brakes before I was a member of this forum ... just thought that such a powerful car should really have the best brakes available.

... mind you, if I had as much money as some of the moderators on this forum, I'd have a GT with the lot, thanks!

Sat Nav would of been nice, but too expensive. Don't need it in Canberra but would come in handy for Sydney trips as I have a pretty poor sense of direction.

Ditto for sunroof but after hearing a couple of stories about leaks etc I'm glad I didn't get it.

I really did want side airbags but the dealer talked me out of it saying there would be a long delay if I wanted them. It wasn't the wait so much it was the January price rise that I couldn't cope with.

The 18" spare I'm still kicking myself over for not getting. I knew it was cheap but in the excitement of ordering the car I let the salesman talk me out of it.

I would have gone the brakes and Sunroof if the $$ would have streached...

But alas they did not. So the Auto with Premium sound was the go... :longlaugh:

I still wonder about some of the options I skipped (Stav Nav, Sunroof ect) but I got the big ticket items I thought mattered, the brakes, leather and tinting. I kept with the 17's but still wonder about the 18's but I suspect I made the right choice as some of the roads I drive can be "rim benders"

No regrets here...took premium sound, premium brakes, sat-nav, side impact air-bags, rear sensing, 18" alloys including spare....would have been nice for a sunroof, but I just use the windows ;) .

Just didn't want to take the risk of regretting things in the future....

This whole thing is worth it, just to watch the moderators follow me around apologising to newbies they think I might scare off ...
