I Tuned a BF XR8 Blown with a Positive Displacement Blower a few weeks ago.. Cannot name the company at this point, but I'm sure some people will have few idea's.. Due to be released early next year

Power wise.. 349rwkw on 10psi boost... On A totally stock BF XR8 boss... Put a exhaust on it, and I'm sure there's more in it.

Oh, and power at 110km/h, 250rwkw...

whats so good about kenne belle blowers? intercooled Vortechs (which are a proven reliable supercharger) make the same power and are much more common in drive in drive out applocations.

Totally different power delivery..

Centrifical makes power up the top..

Positive displacement will punch torque out from the word go..

I've tuned both centrifical and PD.. and on a V8, the PD sure wins my love..

An yeah.. a PD on a Boss will sure give a xr6t a run for its money... Centrifical? yeh maybe.. LOL

With or without cooler Danny?

I have not tuned a Supercharger without a intercooler..

Various combos I've tuned..

1) Capa supercharged kit with the water/air setup

2) Capa supercharged kit with the air/air setup

3) *unnamed* positive displacement blower with in manifold water/air setup

No 3, will be marketed as a drive in / drive out kit for around the 10k mark.. that's supply blower, intercooler setup, injectors, tuned etc.. Given the power it makes, and how it makes it, I believe its going to be very successful..

And personally I've fallen in love with it.. (no .. not enough to sell my xr6t and get a boss..)

about number three PD chargers, ...................can you get some information on them, or do you know where I can speak to someone about them?

Plus the screw type chargers have the best sound to them over centrifical blowers YEAH!!!

That sounds about the best setup after all the blowers I've been looking at, and yer I think I know the name of the *unnamed* haha, or I think I do...

Well... Lets just say, When we get the xr8 back, a new upgraded clutch will be fitted (killed the std one suprise surprise).. and some real world testing will be done..

I believe the blower is approx 2.3 or 2.4l, and yeah.. it makes that annoying noise you speak off.. although, I am starting to like it

I'll have to ask to see if I can disclose more information or not.. Heck I dont know alot about it at the moment as its a new blower in their range..

Danny.

Remembering its still under development :)

its a kenne bell for sure.... look up kennebell.com they make the best PD blowers on the market IMHO complete with intra manifold intercoolers etc... very efficient and make great power from under 2000rpm.... that's why the are better on the road than centricfical... which are only good for dyno comps.... :)

all the pricing is the site aswell, the dont retail, wholesale direct... only about $4k to get one here for a boss, plus all the supporting gear etc....

sorry now the word is out.....
