I'm getting an exhaust for chrissie and was looking at a bling stainless 3.5" dump pipe to twin 2.5" cat back and the guy at the shop said that they'd done a few 4" dump pipes to twin 2.5" so is there a point to the 4" or should I stick to the 3.5"????

price is the same.

Hi mate,

I'd probably stick with the 3.5" Dump pipe but it really depends on how much power your currently running and how much your wanting to achieve?

Anything over 350rwkw's, I 'd go for the 4" one but for low 300's stick with the 3.5".

I chose the 3.5" Dump pipe over the 4" for this reason and I believe it's also more responsive from down low when compared to the 4" which is better for higher KW's.

I remember a while back a member on here had installed a 4" Dump pipe with low 300's and he instantly had noticed sluggish takeoff's and for that reason he later got rid off it.

I've got the full S/S X-Force system on my car with the large mufflers (the quiet one's) and got it a month ago thanks to Nizpro who supply and fitted it themselves. It has the 3.5" Dump pipe to twin 2.5" from my 3.5" metal cat with quad tips which IMHO is a awesome setup. I believe Brian (BCL), is also running a similar setup and his also very happy with the system.

Hope this helps and good luck with it mate

cheers,

San.
