I get in, slap it to the left, and leave it there. Of course, I basically have to do this since it's my wife's daily driver and she drives like a granny. I told her when we bought it that the car was powerful and to not be surprised if it catches her by surprise. She promptly had nightmares (seriously) about the car doing wheelies!!I love driving it in manual mode though.
