I have read quite a few topics and viewed many photos on this web site and I'm just wondering whether there's any reason why some of you guys don't display your rego numbers? :innocent: Also do you guys think it's worth adding an alarm to your investment?

As one of the moderating team I try to discourage displaying numberplates or anything else that may identify an individual or their car for security reasons. however it is not a forum rule, and at the end of the day it is each persons choice to decide.

As for alarms...I'm getting one. There is a lengthy thread on the forum.

I tend to agree with richdave's post on displaying number plates. As they can easily identify you from this forum etc and other means. But again my photos do have my plate, and my car is fully insured. So if it gets stolen it get's stolen.. not much i can do.

As for an alarm i got one.. didnt make a difference to my insurance premium but just the added piece of mine they maybe and hopefully somone will hear it or can deter someone from stealing it its a bonus.. Its hooked into the panic alarm feature so it makes one hell of a noise..

Showed my number plate,

Have an alarm

Pity the dipsh*t that goes anywhere near my car..... seriously....

The cars are seen on the road and in the car parks around town so don't see why showing it here hurts.... criminals are all over the place and they are nothing a bullet would not resolve....

Nothing like a good lynching. We could draw and quarter them between 4 Turbos just like the opening scene from the movie Ghengis Khan......
