This rule applies to most if not all electrical retail stores. If not, send it back to Noosa ask for a refund as these things have a 12 month warranty and come buy one off me jkThey are a repair warranty so they will not just replace it if the purchase has been greater than 10 days prior but you will not have to pay anything. Even if you didn’t have the receipt it should still be repaired under warranty, as the product isn’t even a year old.Thanks Skrema its going in tomorrow at my local harvey norman do think they will ask for I.D. as it aint my name on there? They must honor 12 month warranty on the product, not the person who purchased it.If they give you stick, ask for written confirmation and tell them you will be taking it up with consumer affairs.This is a clear breach of consumer law and just like Ford warranty, they are trying to bluff you into payment. Thankfully I bought the 48month extended warranty so "should" come back all sweet.just means I'm without my ps3 for 1-5 weeks !Out of curiousity, did you get a fault code come up on the screen?
