From the Heraldsun;

POLICE are investigating whether speed was a factor in a spectacular crash that two young men trapped in their car.

The men were travelling west on Ferntree Gully Road at Ferntree Gully shortly after midnight when the driver lost control of the Ford Falcon XR on a bend near the Burwood Highway intersection, police said.

The car skidded for 120 metres, then rolled, trapping the pair.

The driver, 24, and his passenger, 18, were taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
