It will be good to see the power difference with it open then closed.

Just a suggestion. I have got a seperate wastegate screamer type pipe. I added a small hotdog muffler and pointed the tail end of the pipe directly into the road and it made a hell of a difference in noise when the wastegate vented. To the point you dont hear it. It terminates just under the driver.

I reckon I might do something like you but just add a short hotdog and have a 90deg pipe on the end that points to the ground.

Yep I see what you mean. I'll see how it goes at Winton next Friday, and if it's too loud I'll definately put a small hot dog on it. It all depends how long I can take the noise for, but with the helmet on and the radio earphones, it might be ok.

Sounds like u need an eBoost so you can use it on the fly... it wont be cooler if u say "just wait 1 minute while I upload a new program.. then we can drag"

very cool idea though I love it!

FFFFFFFFFar out!

What a huge difference.

We got it tuned and I had to run off but later on that night went for a spin through the hilly section of a private track I own, wooooohoooooo.

Talk about revs and top end power, it sits at 4000rpm and has that much more grunt to the limiter it feels pretty much like free revs, but it's constantly sideways,,,woooohoooo.

Awesome. Need the RE55's again.

Very very smooth power delivery the way it's tuned, totally controllable on opposite lock so it's going to be awesome on the track. Maybe just a little bit of fine tuning but I won't know till after Winton.

Turn the butterfly off and it's back to a lower boost level, but still good on the street.

Just nice, thanks Headsex.

I now have 4 tunes in my box!!!!

1 is the 302RWKW street tune.

2a is the closed butterfly race tune.

2b is the open butterfly race tune,,,full bore.

3 is my valet....LOL.

Top stuff.

I reckon it would be worth dedicating a seperate tune for the flap open... who needs valet anyways?

headsex, so in your opinion, even though you get a boost spike, you can still keep the tune safe enough to run flap open and flap closed on the same tune? if so, im guessing you would have to not be so agressive with it, and not tune it to its limit... or... can you tune it to the knock limit at desired max boost with flap open then with flap closed its easy very safe with whatever boost it falls to???

Could an Eboost be used with the flapper valve to control boost while its open.
