Good on Expensive Daewoo for making a tough car. They are in financial sh*te, there is a global recession and people all emo about global warming, but Expensive Daewoo have the guts to produce such a car. What do Ford do, well in the past they dropped V8's from their range. All I can say is Ford you have the GTHO name, get off your respective asses and build the Blue Oval Australina fans something to be proud of.

Ford/FPV dont seem to be doing a hell of a lot really... I mean yeh the FG turbos are farken awesome and kick ass over the standard HSV's etc but we have no walkinshaw or W427 equivalents when really we could have a fire breathing GTHO with a shelby stang GT500 blown Boss stuffed into it.. or a nice boosted F6 of some description..

the turbos are so under tuned its not even funny, FPV could easily tweak the boost, strengthen a few random things to put a 300rwkw FG F6 out there with little additional stress to the driveline components etc

As much as I love the sound of a big snail on full boost, you just can't beat the whine. Love it!

Agreed, Ford is too conservative. They just don't understand how many general car sales the HSV range has generated for Holden.

Although, judging by all real world performance figures, etc, the F6 as it is, is more than a match for the W427. If FPV tickled it a little more, the red boy will need to put two 7 litre motors just to keep up :repost:

Ask and you shall recieve, FPV have not been sitting on their hands.

The Walkinshaw supercharger is not a factory offering, it is an aftermarket upgrade no different from say an APS Phase III kit, it just has the advantage of an aftermarket warranty and the fact HSV will turn a blind eye to it, making it a almost a semi factory offering.

The bonnet scoop is terrible!

Although it sounds good I'm not sure I could live with the whine.

I guess to compare it to a Ford product you'd have to get either a Boss kit or turbo 6 kit that is ADR compliant.

Exactly, beef up a few bits on the F6 and you will have exactly what the aftermarket boys are doing but with improved durability.

A twin screw on the 5lt will deliver impressive results as well.

Rub is, the market has to be prepared to pay for it.
