I went for a drive in a calais the other day (forgive me) VE. He bought it ripped the 6l out put in a 7l then threw that walk supercharger kit they are describing and with no more mods pulled 620 RWHP just went in for a bigger cam and a little more boost. What do u think of the bang for your buck 100K and still going. being a site member u know what I would prefer and it does have a blue oval on it and is a hell of a lot cheaper!

Sorry just got informed I'll re-write what I said..

He bought it stuck a Harrop H122 & cam/springs on the 6l and ran 406rwkw. It had a lean out at w/bank and in went a built lsx blocked 7l. With the H122 it was starving so on went the HTV2300, with L98 heads, Harrop fuel system, smaller cam than std LS7 pulled 620 RWHP. Has just come back from PT with a bigger cam and a little more boost. Oh and full weight wit 20s on front and 80kg excess of dynamat & full leather interior through the A6 ran an 11.37....... w/bank on the 17th should see an honourable booting

I don't know if it was one of these Walkinshaw ones, but I saw what looked to be a tarted up R8 Clubbie boot it down the road (opposite direction) that sounded exactly like the car in that clip..... It actually gives off a sound that is akin to, dare I say it, a Ferrari (from a distance).

Flame suit on!!!

Sad to say, this is the type of car that got me to jump the fence... I would never pay 100k for a Expensive Daewoo or a Ford, classic or new but you could get close to this type of machine for maybe 50k? if you were to choose something cheaper... like a UTE lol
