When I was in Turkey on holiday I used to drink Tuborg Red 600ml Cans, around 10% alcohol, 2 cans and you were happy for the night.. next morning... nothing...no hangover at all.

The man has a point.. only problem is finding the good stuff.

Yeah - pretty much anything you can buy off the shelf in Aus won’t cut it – especially if it’s in a can or bottle. You might have to go to one of the special beer cafe's. (we have a couple here in the ACT)

I lived over there - but I don't really like beer so it wasn't much use to me! Other than Oktoberfest!

I remember finding a full bottle of Bundy rum on the shelf of a bar in Switzerland! It was like Christmas for me! The barman didn’t know what it was or how to drink it. I had to explain that it was mixed with coke. I ending up having the whole bottle!

And as Ozzie said - most of the stuff over there is 10% ++

We had beer in Belgium that was 23%... Gives a new meaning to: two pot screamer!

If you drink most of the beers made in Europe (and I mean actually made there, none of this wan*er beer that people buy here and think it is from over there - I.e - Heineken in a bottle...) they are made with no preservatives and they don't give you a hang over. It sounds funny, but you can drink as much as you like and feel fine the next day!

Try - Leffe Blonde, Leffe Brune, Tripel - Belgian and German beers are the way to go.

Also - for those who drink water before going to bed... try drinking cordial. The water hydrates you and the sugar gives you a nice energy boost and makes you feel better.

Leffe!!! That sh*t is bloody horrid, taste like off banana's not to mention like $90 a slab.

Hogarden is tops and no hang over, comes in huge cups to :tonguepoke:

yeh actually ive heard preservative free beer reduces or eliminates ya hangover... few of my mates make homebrew spirits and after a 700ml bottle I feel fine the next day apart from feeling a bit dopey..

haha I actually dont mind heineken, I can usually go about 13-14 before I have any type of ill effects the next day.. worst would have to be the original Hahn Ice, just looking at it gave me a headache mwahaha
