Guest esky Guests Posted 16/01/03 10:04 PM Share Posted 16/01/03 10:04 PM This is the momo wheel pictured and in blue This is also a quote from rob herrod who did the Xr6t pace cars for the last few rounds of the v8 supercarsI have driven with the MOMO and the sports wheels .When we built the Monroe saftey and course cars for the touring car events. In my opinion the sports wheel kills the MOMO for comfort and hand grip.I drove both of the cars for quite some kms,the MOMO made my hand hurt, yet the sports wheel felt great and I thought looked betterCheers Get the sports wheel. I got the *beep* wheel and knob thrown in by the dealer for nothing, that’s why I got it. As seen in the pic.Although I should have cleaned the console out before the photos

Guest Rastus Guests Posted 17/01/03 09:32 AM Share Posted 17/01/03 09:32 AM I have to thank you guys for posting the pics of the Momo Vs "Sports" wheels. I originally ordered my XR8 without consideration for the steering wheel, even though I knew the existence of the other wheels. I think mainly because there is no pic on the Ford site showing both options, only the Momo. I am glad I rang up today and asked of optioning the Sports wheel, and to see if it was too late...it wasn't. My car gets made next week, now complete with Sports wheel. :DRussell. Guest Rastus Guests Posted 18/01/03 12:46 AM Share Posted 18/01/03 12:46 AM Whats the cost of the momo and the sports wheeel? The Sports wheel will set you back $695 dollars extra, and for the Momo, well that is $830 more. I reckon the sports would be more popular than the Momo IMO.Russell. Guest Turbo-6 Guests Posted 24/01/03 12:18 AM Share Posted 24/01/03 12:18 AM Does anyone else find it difficult getting into the driver's seat? Despite having the steering wheel positioned all the way up, and the seat down, I struggle getting my left leg in the car - the steering wheel seems too low.
