They are a very sweet car and if you can swing it the R32 is that much better. It was actually a toss up between one of those and my T. But for what I paid and what I got, I would have had to spend twice as much to get the same performance out of a golf.

Granted a golf is a nice all round car where as my T will go straight fast and not do much else, I couldnt go past it. I realy do love my car and I have actually been looking at upgrading to a phoon as they only get better.

the pics were taken about 2 hours after the accident, as I said above it was raining, the police had another accident involving a trapped passengers before they could deal with mine, it was painful having people drive past once, then come back, park and get out with video camera to film the site, bloody bastards, it was such a split second moment from in-control to covered in glass and in shock that I still dont really know how it happened, all I know is, excessive speed wasnt an issue, the council guys who saw it agreed it was really odd how fast it happened considering the situation.....

the insurance company wants to know where I want it fixed :buttrock:

dont think she understood exactly what I was on about

I feel for you bro. I know several corners in Melb like that. Karingal Hub left off Cranbourne rd in the wt. and at Breaside right into centre dandy rd both gone in the wt.

They will fix it. I got shunted last may in my BA XT ute 2002 model 18k damage and they put it back together......

Chops

I had my XR6T for a month... I live in brisbane and the weather we have been having has made it hell on the roads.. I was exiting the Gabba exit onto freeway coming home from airport.. I changed lanes and must of hit oil or something.. Next thing I knew I was going sideways into a giant lightpole sideon (drivers side rear door) .. My car is totalled... lol

It wasnt insured as I was searchin around (19yr old with XR6T kinda expensive..)

But one good thing with working for Telstra is that they pay awesome... And I can lease a brandnew XR6T for $92 a week including petrol and insurance....

With the accident I didnt even get a scratch.. <3 my XR6T :spoton:

Fark

:spoton: to the forum, albeit under not so good circumstances.

Was it an auto? There have been a few suffer the same fate on freeway entry when they drop down a gear and lose traction.
