More feed back from AADi,

"...according to market feedback the XR6 Turbo’s and XR8 Falcons, in their factory standard configuration have been breaking the ball cage of inner CV Joint on the genuine CV Shaft when they are driven hard. AADi developed a shaft with GSP for the XR8 with a tripod design inner joint instead of the six ball design that Ford has been using, tripods can often give better performance in extreme conditions. So far the feedback has all been on XR8 and it has been very positive with people saying that they are getting better results than they did with the genuine shaft, not to mention the huge difference in price. Bottom line, there can be over 300kw’s going through these shafts not to mention huge stress resulting from burnouts and power slides (drifting). We will continue to monitor the situation..."

I'll PM my details to you when ready, also if they need to be sent to you i'll have to add postage. What is your post code? I'll get a cost for you. If you can pick them up, you'll need to come to Port Melbourne Edited by hqracer89

What symptoms do you experience when CV's are gone?

I have a steering wheel vibration at 80-100km on freeway. I've had tyres balanced and wheels alignment twice!

Also have the Diff clunk

Are these symptoms? I have anoud 290rwkw on 6spd manual

thanks

Hay mate, i dont know the symptoms to why a CV is stuffed, I'm sure the other guys on here may be able to help.

Also i'm heading to the post office with a CV to work out a cost for everyone's postage.

No good at the Australia post. The packaging is too large and they will not accept the items. They will need to be sent via toll or the like. I'll PM everyone when the quote is back.
