So getting back to the question at hand... I think the 2x 2.5 is a good option, maybe coupled with 2 "good" mufflers. The Hot dogs will make it louder.

oh and what are you doing with your cat??

Hey SCRIBR ,heres one for ya...

as explained by Cliff Clavin,of Cheers.

One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the BuffaloTheory to his buddy Norm.

Here's how it went:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

? the cat I have not had a look at that I think 3.5" ? then into 2 x 2.5" .

So I am back at school by the looks of this , so 4" is to big and 3" is to small but 2 x 2.5" would be more then 3" looking at the black broad. and 4" would be to hard to fit + the DB would be like 130db I think :aaggl:

But then you also have to factor in the fluid dynamics at each 'intersection.'

Flow is heavily disrupted/slowed when it has to join to go through a single catalytic converter/muffler.

Despite mass hysteria that a 'single 3-inch system won't flow much' the ute makes 340rwkw at only 12 lb utilising one.

N.B One muffler and 'super high-flow' cat helps. :roflmbo:
