Went into my local Ford Dealer yesterday to get a brochure and fell in love with the salesman :roflmbo:

HER name was "Gabby" and she could'nt do enough to help me, first salesperson I've come across for a long time that was'nt a smart arse.

They have a factory demo (TTG) coming in January and she said I can take it home for a 3 day test trial. :shocked:

Did you start the convo with...

:roflmbo: ?

3 day test drives are a rarity - good work Bazza :spoton:

No, I said show me your TT's (as in Territory Turbo's) , and for some strange reason she lifted up her top. :roflmbo:

I think that's when I fell in love :spoton::spit:

Suggest that you insist you are a really bad driver and in order to protect her company's property, she must accompany you for the three days.

Got a wife?

Well the story now goes like this, I have had a slight change of heart , due to the fact I feel reluctant to pass with my perfectly good T for a measley $23,000 trade.

Yeh, I know that is all it is worth, but it is in mint condition with 23,000km on it and is still fun to drive.

It means I would lose the T and the Discovery and still have to fork out about $35,000 more.

On the good side, I have come across what I think is a value plus deal on a 2003 FORD Explorer 4.6 V8 Limited with only 70,000 km on it for $22,000.

This way I keep the T and just trade the of the Landrover for about $16,000 changeover, with 12mths rego and warranty.

I took this wagon for a test drive and was quite impressed as it drove like new.

Feel free to tell me if theres anything real bad I should know about the Explorer, its just mainly for towing the boat.
