That sucks hope it works out for you in the end

Word of advice from convertible owner.....

One of the best things you can do is open everything up so anyone considering making your window into little pieces see's there is nothing hiding!

you can just put everything under the seat or hidden elseware as long as they can see that its not going to be worth while they wont risk it.

I used to do this religiously as a convertible top is alot easier to cut (and quieter thansmashing a window)

and much more expensive!

If I am on a club run and we all park our cars together but we are not near them we just leave the tops undone as well

My 4x4 that I had before I went to sydney got broken into out the front of my house

little bastards punched a screw driver through the door skin

$800 worth of damage for less than 2 bucks in change

I would have given then 20 bucks just not to damage the car!

Sucks big time mate hope all goes well

Ryno.

crap man, I hope it all gets sorted out properly. I'm always parking in the car park there at Karrinyup... I'm scared now!

id hate to imagine what I'd do to fu**ers if I caught them in the act... just make sure you get them so good that they got no idea who or what the fu*k hit them... so they cant identify you.

was hoping for maybe a number plate from security but they got nothing. talk to insurance tomorrow about what they want to do about it all. XF falcon, I have always parked round the myers entry and the one time I parked elsewhere my car gets smashed, I think your alright if you park in some areas as there are more security cameras, where I was only 1 camera could see the car during daylight...nighttime you've got no chance

My mums place got broken into a couple of weeks ago, Cops didn't care, Didn't Want to come around until they heard my brother inlaw say in the background he was going to find these c#@ts and kill them. I would have done the same had I been there and actually caught them in the act.

On this note I heard you are now allowed to protect home and person against an intruder now without repercussion to a point. Can anyone confirm this?

Very big grey area...but in a word no.

Read a story going around a while back along the same line as your bro-in-law's. Somebody was witnessing a break in but they were too busy to come straight away, so he called them back a minute later to say "don't worry about it I've already shot him"

The street was then full of cop cars within five minutes. :rokon:

No idea how much truth is in it, but it’s a great tactic!
