Hi Guys!

I've been having an issue with my car over the weekend and I cant work out what it is, when I put the foot down and reach 3500 to 4000 revs my car starts vibrating\burbling. When the car does this it feels very sluggish and loses power. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it may be? Could it even be a diff on the way out?

Cheers,

Matty

this symptom is becoming pretty frequent, it seems to be a coil related problem, pull the coils out and have a look to see if there are any white marks on the inside of the end of the coil pack, sometimes they arc out.

Or just take it to your tuner/mechanic

Thanks guys, ill definitely get the coils checked, its worse since the weekend too, I took it for a burn with my dad yesterday night and it was splutterling really bad at 4-5 grand mark. And when slowed down I turned the car around it was if I had a flat tire, and limped about 10 metres. I put it into park and when I gave it a quick rev it the spluttering went away.

Veczar, no the car doesnt get over it after this mark, the harder I push it the more it vibrates and splutters. Definitely missing...

So I took the car to the machanic and after a day of troubleshooting he cant figure out as to why the car is missing up high... :fool: Is there anyone that can recommend an awesome mechanic or ford tuner that can take a look at this problem? I live in Berwick, Vic. so anywhere in a 20k radius would be ideal..

Cheers,

Matty.
