hey all have to do some work on the T next week just wanna know the best place to stick a small trolley jack and then some stands under the front end to get her off the ground is there any better place than the points on the sills I never feel confidant lifting a car by the sill

just inside of the jacking point there is a square section that kind of joins the sil and the chassis rail, but a block of rubber or foam on the top of the stand and lower the car onto it, this is the point where you put the hoist arms on a 2 post hoist

just remember, before you get under it, give it a tiny shove to see if its stable, if it falls, well too bad, but at least you weren't under it!

sweet I still use the old trick of stickin the wheels you take off striaght under the car near the stands as extra safety too
