I did Luke but these are the Envy MKIII where yours are MKII. They are very similar but mine have more of the "fake" studs and a machined lip instead of a chrome lip but the center is the same. They ended up being within my price range and as a bonus, they look good on the car :)

The suspension is a Tein Supersport "performance" coilover setup so the springs come with the dampers. They are height and dampening (rebound too) adjustable. The dampening adjustment can be made from inside the car if you spend an extra $800 (fitted) for the EDFC (electronic controller). I will definately be doing this as it allows you to go from stiff to soft and anywhere in between by pressing a button or two. I also got Whiteline sway bars and a camber caster kit. I just did a highway drive in it and the setup is great. For how flat it all keeps the car and how well it puts the car where you want it with the right attitude, it still has a VERY good ride. Firm but smooth.

You have to lower your car dude- it's a must with nice wheels!

Yeah I definitly want to lower it but I don't really wanna be scraping bumpers and chewing cv's (the way I drop the clutch sometimes its bound to happen lol).

I'm thinking I mite just drop the back just to level it out and get it sittin flat that way its still practical and it shouldn't look like a monster truck anymore hahaha

Yeah I have 105mm ground clearance and it there are driveways at the local shops I can no longer use. The front went down 25mm and the rear went down 40mm. I think you would be safe dropping the front by 15mm. and the rear as needed...

Hi mate,

Do you know what the spring rate on the Teins are? from memory the ford springs are 450/250.

Also, how has the balance changed (under/oversteer) since the coilovers and sways were added.?

I am a fan of Teins as I have used them on an MX5 and the spring rate / damper valving was spot on in my opinion, I am giving some thought to going with these, sways and camber kit and some light Enkei wheels in the future.

I dont know the spring rate but I'd guess at somewhere between 700-800 on the front and maybe 400-450 on the rear? I haven't had a real good go at them but over stock suspension, wheels and tyres, there is mountains of difference but that's what I would expect. Very little body roll. Accelerating hard in a corner enduces some oversteer but it seems fairly neutral when you back off. I havent doen any tweaking so there's room for improvement. I really like them!

I dont know bout u re, but I put 90/10 shocks in the front with 70/30 rears and rear spring chopd a coil and it handles like its on rails!

Ahh, for running down the quarter in reverse - niiice - no gear shifting required. But I'd say you definitely, 100%, absolutely, positively, for sure need Tsatsiki injection because having only 1 gear, you'll need to rev it to 9500 rpm. Oh yeah, you'll have to get a tune too.
