seventytwo Still have a turbo, it's just on a diesel. Lifetime Members 5,368 Member For: 19y 5m 22d Gender: Male Location: The 8th Dimension Posted 27/11/07 12:54 PM Share Posted 27/11/07 12:54 PM (edited) Did a quick of testing on sunday's track day of my stage 1 PW cooler, not sure what the ambient temp was (my guess mid to high 30's) but after driving to the track I measured with a inferred thermometer the intake side end tank and got a reading of 46 degs. After 3 hot laps, I took another measurement as soon as could about 3 or 4 minutes after coming of the track. The readings where 49 degs hot side end tank and 41 degs on the cool side, as these are out side readings and not actually intake charge temps make of this readings what you will. And by the way stock front brake temp 171 degs and rear 152 degs Edited 27/11/07 12:55 PM by seventytwo

The last time I played with one was a few years ago, however those infrared thermo's generally only work on a black body. So Kev, You have obviously collected at least some data on your product. What would average efficiency of your stage 2 intercooler be?
