On the odd occation when reversing out of a carpark, I see the odd P plater getting to their knees to check her out. Obviously doing the "we're not worthy" thing from Waynes World (or maybe just to see if it has an intercooler at the front which ='s Turbo ). I've also lost count of the amount of times the odd P plater driving a bomb screams out "Go the ford".

The humble beetle was probably the first (in my living memory) and the Mustang not far behind. WRX took a couple of years and it is probably the benchmark amongst modern icons. The first GTs and Monaros, Chargers etc never gained cult status - sure they became collectable, but in their era they were not cult cars. Posted 07/10/03 08:34 AM Share Posted 07/10/03 08:34 AM Methinks it'll be the series 2 that makes it to cult status.the current model should have a load of "go fast" potential, but I wonder if the ancillaries are up to it. Redhawk ....Time to lay this fairytale aside...... Donating Members 2,657 Member For: 21y 8m 8d Gender: Male Location: In the Ferry on the River Styx, not getting out just yet! I only hope the T does'nt go the way of the WRX and become practically impossible to insure in a couple of years. Knowing the 'hawk and what it can do and when they come down in price so the younger hoons can afford them then sadly I believe they will. For resale I believe the GT will definately be the best buy (I HOPE)

I got a new box in the hawk and it is better than the original one, smoother, no crunching what so ever. Really nice box.
