Never had any problems so far, stays on the 5-6 psi constantly. I think if I fitted a UBP I may be pushing my luck.

Not looking for an argument here but if anything an exhaust, cooler and intake package should compliment better fuel economy and response I would think. Never heard of anyone destroying a "6000 dollar engine" in the process. But if it is dangerous , shoot dude, sorry I stand corrected.

If not it may be overboosting without you knowing it...

At the very least you should dyno the car after any major mod to make sure its safe or tune it so you can make the most of the mods.

Sasha Member 141 Member For: 17y 5m 20d Gender: Male Location: North Queensland Posted 30/11/07 10:34 AM Share Posted 30/11/07 10:34 AM Yes I have a boost gauge. It's working fine, reads about 5 1/2 psi. Im actually going to the local tune house tomorrow morning with my cousin and his BA. that's the one I tried to tell you was making 330 rwkw on stock valve springs and on 12 psi and nobody believed me , all I got was blokes acting like jealous tossers because their poo barges werent making that power on that boost and with only $2000 spent. Well since then it has been to Mal Woods Automotive and had nearly 10k spent on the drive train and is back here to be tuned to as close as 400 rwkw as he can get. We will see tomorrow I suppose. I will get photo and video evidence for the non believers out there. Should be a blast, might throw the ute on to see how it ramps up also.Cheers Sasha.
