I ran my factory tune with a high flow cat and twin 2.5" zorst and a wog cooler and it didnt overboost, the capa generic 8psi tune did however overboost to 14psi, so the stock tune went back in...

On 5psi stock you will go into limp because the flow sensore located on the UBP sensors more air flow then usual and spits the dummy. I recommend if you do the cooler and UBP, prepare to drive off boost until the custom.
I would do them both at the same time as you already have the bumper off and the UBP will take you another 20 minutes to fit rather then the 2hours . that's my opinion. Ozzie

Your giving me conflicting advice there.... Im still going to be running the stock tune. Custom tune will not happen till next year.

I realise the UBP will be a quick job while ive got everything apart. that's why ive waited for my new bumper to be ready to go, so once the old one is off the I/C and UBP and new bumper go on in the one go.

Ill just risk it, ill fit the UBP along with the I/C and see how it goes. If it overboosts then ill fit the stock UBP back in. I hardly every get on boost anyways, so driving around off boost isnt a problem.

just fit it and see how you go brad, mine didn't overboost until I put the cat in, even then it was creeping up, not a massive spike or anything...

I put my process west stage 1 cooler in a few weeks ago, my cars otherwise stock with just K & N and F6 intake and it runs fine, no overboost..

But I chose not to put the PW UBP as I thought it might overboost, so I think you'll be safe with just the cooler until u get more parts or get a custom tune.. doesnt take that long to take the front bar off.

In my experience the cooler didn't really effect teh car. Maybe 1 or 2 psi overboost but it was the UBP that made teh car run like poo before I got a custom tune. The car still ran but it spluttered and carried on until I got the custom tune.

Put it all on, but atleast run it up on a dyno, any dyno just to check AFR's... if its dangerously lean baby it until you get it tuned, just dont bring the boost on/give it generous throttle... change gears low on light throttle and it should be ok

Overboost ?? Im not sure it happens as easy as you think. You will have to to add a bleed tap, or have the hose come off the wastegate actuator without you knowing to have it happen. I have done the K&N filter, Airbox, Capa Cooler, Full 3" Exhaust and had nothing of the sort happen nor seen it happen on any mates cars, so I say go for it buddy
