Member 348 Member For: 18y 11d Gender: Male Location: BRISBANE Posted 22/11/07 01:34 AM Share Posted 22/11/07 01:34 AM Myself and others have run coolers on stock tunes with no affects at all, I have a PWR and have had no problems and DAT has used a Wog cooler for a few months before he got his tune done, cant see how just a cooler with no intercooler piping can make a difference in tune, during the heat of summer. I rekon go for it mate, I have a rear muffler changed to and K+N etc and have had no probs in the heat of the day or the coolness, havent seen an increase in boost yet. I babied the car around for 3 weeks till I got the custom. I think most of my problems were due to the weak Valve Springs which I had on 8psi generic. On 5psi stock you will go into limp because the flow sensore located on the UBP sensors more air flow then usual and spits the dummy.I recommend if you do the cooler and UBP, prepare to drive off boost until the custom.Ozzie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
