I was thinking about fitting a Bosch 044 inline fuel pump without a surge tank as I don't need a surge tank. First of all has anybody done this and if they have is it hard??Has anbody got any pictures of one fitted to a sedan?? I'd recommend the surge tank, but they do come with a price Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/39907-bosch-044-inline/#findComment-597790 Share on other sites

It isn't that noisey is it?? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/39907-bosch-044-inline/#findComment-597792 Share on other sites

I'll try and take some pics, they mounted it low in the engine bay sort of below the ABS module if you know what I mean. At the back of the mag there is a twin turbo XR Boss and it is running a single Bosch 044 inline with the exsisting factory intank unit. The mag shows a small picture of its mounting under the car, before the fuel filter and they say its capable of supporting the 370rwkw the TT BOSS is running. This puts a new spin on the whole intank walbro/surge tank theory.
