As most of you would know I've decided to sell my car... after very much alot of soul searching I have taken a deposit on it. I met a couple of people from the site this afternoon and they were suitably impressed to leave me with a deposit.

Cheers boys. I hope you like the car and get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. I think in the grand scheme of things you are getting a great bargain for the money that I have invested in it... the car has some great bits on it. I'd love to see it with a built motor in it just to see what it's like, but I won't get the chance.

I must give a big thanks to eveyone here who has helped me along the way with all my questions and different threads about what to do or what to do next. It really is very much appreciated. I have also met some great new friends fom here too... cheers.

I'm not sure Adam, I might get (prepare for the flame) another Holden... I'm not too sure. For the time being I will be driving my Mum's Magna as she is overseas... it certainly will be a culture shock getting back in to a 2.6l 4 cyl Magna but it will give me a chance to look for something else without the pressure of having to find it in the next week...

I have a few options, I might look for a nice BA Fairmont Ghia, not too fussed if it's a 6 or an 8, it will really depend on price. I want to try and bank a bit of the money from the sale.

I have also been looking at VX Calais Internationals, they have really nice interiors and come with the V8 in them, they are pretty rare but nice and a good price. I like the colour too...

Not really sure mate, I will have to sit in one and see if I like it!

One thing is for sure is that I will really miss the midrange rush of a well modified T... nothing I've ever been in compares with it. That is the thing I think I will miss most.

Having just got into a Fairmont myself, I can tell you they're not too bad to drive. I certainly miss the grunt of the T, but in the grand scheme of things the 4L motor has enough punch at 182kw for most of my around town driving! It certainly makes you appreciate the power of a 300rwkw T though! I call the fairmont my grandpa family car, but it's a nice cruiser. Very comfortable, and drives well.

I was glad to get another car with 6 stack in dash cd, plus this one has dual climate control, reverse sensors, side air bags etc etc.

Mines a BA MKII 2005 build.. near on 43k when new, and I picked it up for 17k, so not a bad deal. It has a few more kms on it then I would have liked, but it should be good for the next few years!

I'm really loving the auto (4sp) and I can't wait till I get another T with 6sp auto! I've been converted!

Good luck with the new purchase mate!

I've already thought about a flash tune :burnout: for a bit of extra grunt and increased fuel economy

Am I going to be the only one to say it?......

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....... DONT DO IT. :crybaby:

Spend some more cash on it, build the engine and keep it forever. that's what you really want.

nah plan is to keep it that way, my brother is buying it and I might even tame it a bit so if something breaks I dont have to fix it. very nicely presented car,
