I mean in the first 2 mins the price jumped 40,000 and I was just like WTF.So this time I was aware of how quick the price can jump in auction, anyway I had my set limit and off it went, bidding was very very slow, so I was like ok ill sit back and watch this pan out. It eventually got going and the bids started coming in.Well by this stage it had hit 272,000 so I made my first bid, then straight away this lady bidded on top, so I let it go for a bit two people where bidding it out by this stage it hit 285,000 so I bid again, then the same lady hit back straight away, so I went 2'gs up she did the same, I went another 2, she did the same.So now its up to 291,000 and I was like sht here we go again, but I still hadnt hit my limit, anway this lady and I kepped at it, untile we hit 301,000 then this is where iit got funny, the lady started to bid in 500's so I was pretty sure she was past her limit and was just trying to squiz me, so I went 1g more, then she was like 500, so I went 500.After that the it was just the auctioner asking her if that's it, then she asked for $50 bid so then I thought fck this is mine and slammed 1 more G down. and that was it the final blow I won my first house.I cant explain the feeling I had, I was all over the shop so much sht was racing through my mind, did I make the right choice, am I ready to move out, is this where I wont to live, did I pay to much, OMG this is awsome. It was crazy I have never felt this feeling ever, but after I carmed down got in side I couldnt belive it I won my first house that I really wanted and its MINE.........So yeah partyed hard last night, but im just so over the moon I had to vent my story. So all in all 2 bedroom modern townhouse's, open plan dinning and living area, in carrum 1 min from the beach double car garage, big back yard already land scaped, $303,000 pretty dam happy Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/39865-i-bought-my-first-house-at-auction-yesterday/ Share on other sites

Something like that could cost ya 500 here in Perth so I'm wondering if I should be looking at Melbourne for an investment property. Can't believe I wrote that either. I've sworn off properrty and that's usually when we end up buying.Congrats to YPURV4 by the way Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/39865-i-bought-my-first-house-at-auction-yesterday/#findComment-597287 Share on other sites
