As I am preparing to sell my car I decided to have it professionaly detailed in order to have it looking it's absolute best if anyone wants to come and look at it.

I went with VIP Car Care in Moorabbin, for no other reason other than I've seen them there for years and thought they'd be the way to go.

I dropped the car off there this morning at 8.30am, the guy there told me Tom was going to do the work on it today and that he is brilliant, very pedantic. I couldn't agree with him more. I picked the car up just before 3pm this afternoon and Tom was still working on it... he wouldn't let me have it until he thought it was perfect. Even after he backed it out he was still going over the car just to check and see that he didn't miss anything. Brilliant!!

My car is in pretty good nick anyway, and I like to wash it and what not every weekend but my car was delivered back to me this afternoon looking better than it did when I bought it nearly 3 years go. I couldn't be happier with it. All I wanted to do was get it in the sun to see the paint sparkle like only Ford paint does. I had 2 mates there when I picked up the car and they were both gobsmacked at how good it looks...

It looks so good I'm thinking of not selling it now! Silly I know but true. It has never looked so good in the whole time I've owned it, and I would consider myself to be pedantic owner of my car.

If you want your car done by someone who is this good go and see him at VIP, you will not be disappointed.

Its a shame you can't take pics of it. There aren't enough pics of your car on the forum :msm:

that's good news if you are going to keep it. Would be a real shame to see it leave the forum.

Dags that isn't fair...

And same to you EZ2CME...

I'm so proud of this car, it's mine and looks exactly like I want it to look. I honestly am having second thoughts on selling it. If you had of seen it this afternoon with the sun hitting it in exactly the right spot you would understand. That isn't then even considering how it goes...

I think I will have to hold a wake or something if I do sell it. I reckon there will be some form of grief period after it. I feel like I'm cheating on it now by advertising to sell it. Very weird.

that's how I felt when I got rid of mine.. as if I'd cheated on it :useless:

They certainly look great when they've been professionally detailed! I had mine done for my brothers wedding, and all the swirl marks etc were gone and it looked pretty sweet!

I got mine done by the same blokes a few months back and I agree, it came out absolutly fantastic.

Only problem is... give it 3 days of melbourne weather and it will be back to normal again :spoton:
