The pads will get a “glaze” on them if you don't haul them on every now and again. I have done a couple of massive stops in mine and the noise has reduced a lot. Sometimes it is still there but nowhere near as often. I just got a set of new 20's and the tires don't really like being hauled up that quick!! I defiantly recommend giving this a go however. senna_T Forged Member Lifetime Members 15,818 Member For: 18y 15d Gender: Male Location: SW Sydney Posted 27/11/07 10:24 AM Share Posted 27/11/07 10:24 AM heavy long braking stops, its usually city style traffic that glazes the discs, light application for a long distance, give em a good hit and they should be right, don't be afraid to use the brakes guys, also, when you hit the brakes hard, it may feel like the car is wandering a bit, just leave the steering wheel straight and the EBD will look after you (provided you're not on ice or oil!)
