Does it sound like a police siren?Check for boost leaks first then drive it slowly through the rev range so as not to raise boost and see if you get the whine? Then load her up a bit and note at what boost Pres the whine comes in and goes away. I don't have a boost guage but it comes on under load around 2000rpm and stays until you back off.Does this suggest a boost leak or the Turbotech freeby?
