Does it sound like a police siren?Check for boost leaks first then drive it slowly through the rev range so as not to raise boost and see if you get the whine? I don't have a boost guage but it comes on under load around 2000rpm and stays until you back off.Does this suggest a boost leak or the Turbotech freeby?
