Guest PSXR6 Guests Posted 28/06/03 05:20 AM Share Posted 28/06/03 05:20 AM I am curious as well, after having modified my previous Ford (AU11 Fairmont) air intake and exhaust (Pacemaker Ext & 2.5" sytem) I found my local dealer very good. I had absolutly no problems with waranty or the free service schedule on the car.

Guest PSXR6 Guests Posted 28/06/03 06:45 AM Share Posted 28/06/03 06:45 AM Vik351, as it happens the head required replacement (50000K) and no probs at all, I was worried at the time too!!!. If I do remove the centre muffler on the new ride I hope my luck does hold out but I am nervous about anything which may affect warranty.....as most would be... too much money tied up in a boys toy to blow it!! Well there you go no chicken sh!t Subaru dealer/importer here I have recieved the same info re; lower performance from after market exhausts. I will be interested to get my exhaust dynoed with the original intake filter (have a BMC carbon fibre one on ATM). Have reports that this filter mod on its own gave consistently 9kW RW. Saw approx 4kW RW improvement (stuff all) with exhaust and intake filter. BUT....a big increase in torque, if your interested I'll post the before and after dynos for youse. Bigger 3.5" cat and exhaust with twin 2.5" at rear is what you want. Technically it should give a gain at low boost but it will be most beneficial once the boost is wound right up (say 20psi)
