Well, another new ute to the forum.

Used to have a commodore, and always wanted one of these bad boys, so now I finally got my turbo ute :D:D

Been reading through the forum for a while now, and there's some fantastic info on here. I threw on some of those silver grills from themeshman on eBay, and it looks great. The lower mesh isn't in the photos, they were taken yesterday, lower mesh went on today.

Planning on throwing on a typhoon intake, and doing that chair tip thing on the BOV. Any other cheap mods I should know about before I start putting big dollars into it? (which wont be for a while hahaha).

Plates are changing too, being in QLD, the VIC plates get some weird looks. :P

Welcome Carps, There are no cheap mods that will make much of a difference power wise. Start with the edit and work your way up from there.

Pretty happy with the power (for now). Dyno'd at 205.5 rwkw.

It's auto.

Currently looking to get it sounding better, particularly with the turbo. Absolutely love the sound it makes when I back off at around 3500revs, the fluttery sound, so want to get that happening more often and louder, but really don't want a ricey whooooosh sneeze sound.

With the EDIT, I know im a total noob for asking any questions about it, but do you reckon it's better to wait and do a whole heap at once? Like valve springs, injectors, all that, so I save money on tuning?

And on that, what sort of stuff can you change without having to worry about a tune?

Welcome Carps, do a bit of searching in regards to what you can do/can't do with the tunes. Enjoy the car pal

What wheels are they, I can't quite figure it out on the photos

They're Herrod wheels, not 100% sure on which ones though.

Changed the plates over and got some photos with the lower grill.

It's insanely low... I've found myself taking routes involving extra traffic lights just to avoid speedbumps.

Considering debadging the rear, but not totally sure yet. I really like the fact that it says turbo :D:D, but love a cleaner look.

Also threw the typhoon intake on last night. Haven't really noticed a change in power, will have to throw it on the dyno at some stage and see.
