Cheap mods, F6 cold air intake and hi flow filter you may get 5 or 6kw . But the only thing that will make a real difference is an Edit.

mate, dunno about adding kw's to your ride, but check out the tech threads for things like the boost solenoid maintenance, changing the fuel filter and cleaning out the throttle body. doing all three will make a noticable difference in performance (and cheap too)

the edit is the biggest bang for your bucks mod you can do. Most other mods that actually gain you power, ie cooler, exhaust, will result in overboosting, in which case you'll need to get an edit anyway, then get it custom tuned

Moral of the story? Get yourself a flash tuner from one of the Site Sponsors, and you'll be blown away :stupid:

There is no such thing as DIY on these T any changes made you will have too alter your tune too suit, its not like the old 80,s days wind up with the screw driver, basically everything is controled through the ecu,and any bolt on changes made will effect the performance.Save yourself a heartache and get a custom tune it is the cheapest way you can start off.

You probably should decide what kind of power you think you'd like first as this will govern what you will need to do and how much you need to spend. If you can go for a drive in a few modded T's, that will give you some idea of power levels. But basically, if you want to stay at around 250 ish rwkw, you can do it with everything you already have under your bonnet. As everyone has mentioned, an edit will get you that. I'd consider a better than stock IC though.
