OH if I ws to say a hotted up Suzuki Swift is the coolest thing on four wheels would you race out and buy one? What a toss response

Your opinion doesnt mean anything to me.... Not being mean, but I dont know you. My MATES, those close to me, I value their opinion. In the end I'm the one spending the money and have the final decision.

My first car had no balls compared to the T but it was a looker (nothin compared to the t now though)

I voted for power, cuz there wasnt too many choices. I think though a third choice referring too drivability. Which would encompass suspension, braking and the overall enjoyment of driving the car without flogging it.

Ive never been into turning a car into something its not and lots on here will disagree with me. If you own a T then be proud of the T and its looks. By all means modify it, we all have, but dont turn a T into a GT.

Power the car up to what you like, but dont ever forget the brakes and suspension to ensure the car is safe to drive and enjoyable to drive. A car that handles the twisties and pulls up hard is a lot of fun.

Suspension and brakes should be considered as another viable option. Once you are able to carry additional speed and improve your vehicles load transfer whilst cornering you may see that an excessive amount of power is not required.

Cheers,

My car looks completely stock from the outside but has 350wrkw.

I smoked a VE GTS with a loud exhaust, let me tell you he was pretty pissed off to be beaten by my car! This gave me ultimate satisfaction!

OH if I ws to say a hotted up Suzuki Swift is the coolest thing on four wheels would you race out and buy one? What a toss response, in all seriousness, I modify a car by what I want and think is cool, I have never asked nor needed my mates approval.

Guess this goes for the topic stater as well, do what you think you would be most happy with.

Oh and can we stop reffering these ford thingies as the next VL, or we will attract all kinds of morons.

Scotty

Of course the choice is mine, I started this topic to get a feel of what people thought and the paths members have taken. I love my T but the only thing I don't like is the fact that there are so bloody many of them on the road. I want it to look different without being "Wow look at me!".

And in regards with the comment about making it a GT, it will be far from it. The only reason I will put that kit on is because it is one of only three choices I have. I'll still have the turbo badge on it and a massive fordxr6turbo.com sticker on the back window add a bigger frontmount and it will be pretty obvious what it is.

I think looks with a little power will be the way to go, ticking all the box's and hopefully looking after my gearbox for a little while longer (by the way it's getting looked at at the moment)

Thanks for your input guys, it's much appreciated.

Dillon
