I was at Gregory's last Thursday ordering my XR6T and the salesman said something about a Mercury Silver XR6T that was parked just outside. "that one came earlier than expected and it's almost ready for the owner to pick up" or something like that..Anyways, I see heaps of XR6's and the odd T around Gunghalin etc, while driving my Grey Anthrocite Pulsar SSS I actually saw an XR6T (forgot the colour, just thinking of my cars colour) towing a boat down my street the other week. Guest Isher Guests Posted 26/06/03 07:29 AM Share Posted 26/06/03 07:29 AM KrasH,Yep, I got it from Gregory's. Picked it up Monday night at about 1730.I ordered it on 10 April and was told to expect June build date and possibly June delivery. After reading about all the tropuble people were having with delivery time I thought "June delivery.." might be dealer speak for "..some time this year...". I was honestly expecting it to be deliverd in July or August. In early June I was advised that my build date was 11 June and that I could expect delivery on the 25 June. Again I was still skeptical but hey, you can only hope. Then last Wednesday the dealer called me and said it should be ready to pickup on Monday :D In all I waited less than 3 months so I'm really happy. I think there were two reasons for the speed of my delivery:1. It was purchased on the Ford Employee Discount Plan (God love my step brother!! ) and thus the vehicle was additional to Gregory's nominal monthly XRT alocation.2. I suspect that Gregories were very proactive in trying to get the car delivered to me prior to 30 June. I say this because I suspect it would be better for them for tax purchases to have the sale made in this FY, and I ordered a factory sunroof (which we know can hold up car delivery) and they cacnled the factory one and got it installed aftermarket. Reckon it could have saved then a week or two.I have no probles with the after market sunroof, it looks the same as the normal Ford. In fact I'm probably happier with the aftermarket one because reading posts on this site suggest that FPV can be a bit rought handed when fiting their roofs.Regadrs,Isher

I have a standard XR6Turbo that is Blueprint. Slimline NSW numberplates. Spend alot of time in Weston Creek when I am there. I wave to most XR's when I see them.
