took 4 weeks or so for my rapid intake to arrive, and I only got it cos a lady came and gave it to me... sent to the wrong address.

Dump pipe turned up, but ive since been told that my dump pipe isnt actually a genuine x-force and its a copy made it taiwan, from other sources. Unfortunately I had already rubbed it back by hand and painted it a pot belly black sort of colour with ceramic based paint. But I will fit it up anyways and see how it goes

wow you have been busy...put up some pics

If it's not raining tomorrow I'll give it a tub and chuck up a couple of pics. Purchased a 2 channel Kenwood amp last night that can be bridged to power the Kicker sub, so things should be going dooff next weekend if it all arrives and goes to plan. Fingers crossed.

Yeah good mate, I pulled the turbo off to do the port job and replaced the standard actuator, done the injectors and flashed a tune in from dave to get it running so I can get it up to him, my process west race airbox and battery relocation turned up so I will be doin those with my water/methanol injection today after work. Goes up on the 16th for a tune on the 17th. cant wait.

let me know how it goes with the water/methanol injection? I'm having thoughts about this on the ttg so I can stick with the top mount cooler and keep the standard look.

Turns out I wont have my water methanol done in time for a tune, I dont want to just drill and tap a thread into the intake pip, I wanted to tig a small bulkhead onto the intake pipe but over this weekend I could even fine a piece of billet ally to machine down, I turned our workshop upside down, and raided Bunnings/supercheap and autobarn and I cant get find a 1/8 NTP 27TPI nut anywhere to weld on, the gas fittings I think I will have to procure from a gas place, or hopefully conventry or mullings fasteners. Its not a huge dramas, dave said he can email me a tune with an extra 2 degrees timing put in which will be safe, and that's as far as he would have gone anyway, he reckons usually with water/meth you can go atleastt 4 degress but my motor will be on the brink anyway so dont want to throw a leg out of bed. I will get a dyno reading after the tune, and after the water meth. I will help a fair bit for dyno/drags keeping intake air temps consistant and allowing the PCM to run maximum advance more consistantly. Next things on the list after a tune will be stand alone trans cooler for the zf6 speed and better oil cooler to stop the PCM pulling timing when the oil temp gets a little high. Of course you can turn these off and tune in open loop but im getting dave to leave the torque tags and this sort of thing operating, in my opinion they are there for a reason.

Fingers crossed, lads should get a half decent printout thursday, still be around 200hp lower that yours reece...until I build a engine for it :)

Well I got the tune, I must say I'm pretty happy with the result considering the work ive done, Dave is an absolute wizard.

Made 362.1rwkw and over heaps of torque that he toned down a bit. I will get my mrs to post up my dyno sheets after she gets home, I can build a do all my own car work but cant work a laptop, cracks my mrs up all the time haha
