I'm fine to leave Rockhampton anytime after 3pm... Or well make that midday.. Provided nothing major happens I couldn't be stuffed spending a whole day at work on friday. I don't think I've ever been to the drags where you can drive around line up and be ready to go again in about 10 minutes.I managed to stick solid to me 14.1's to 14.4's with a wild card of 15.2 thrown in for good measure (third gear hated me after that run).I think counting time slips up I did about 9 runs all night. Though I was disappointed to learn that the WRX I left for dead wasn't actually a WRX and was just an Impreza.. With a big zorst.. Some nice cars there and a very impressive skid show by LED FT.. Onya mate.Adamski did you get any video footage of me launching against Kyles black VE?? That made me feel good till about 50m from the finish. Yeah we got a bit of rain and they closed the track and quite a few people left. Then we waited about 45 minutes and it was open again.. I don't know about anyone else but in the manual I can't carry 3rd gear across the line which is just annoying. When's the next test and tune in Mackay? Sucks they cancelled it. Possibly not the best idea I've ever had but I was running consistent 2.2s 60ft times which was way better then my last visit to the track. First run was a 15.77 with no idea how to launch the big girl, ended up with a best of 14.90 at 92mph with baby seat, spare tyre, jack, socket set and half a tank of juice. Managed to bog down, forgot to turn traction off a few times and stalled it a few times, red lit once but managed to have an awesome time. Thanks again Brenno for your helmet, much appreciated. Here's the slip from my best run, managed to get my 60ft down from 2.7x to 2.3x which took 8 tenths off my et.Will get the footage up when I get it from my brother. It still raises my hair just thinking about it.Good Effort though mate.. It was good to meet you.. And I figured out what was going wrong with the camera.. The wife had changed the lens over for photographing jewelry for a friend to one that makes it appear very blingy, sparkley..
