ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 2m 25d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 09/11/07 12:44 AM Share Posted 09/11/07 12:44 AM I have been to the P&O Port Botany terminal several times in my car. Usually having a fork infront with a container and behind. I was told they cannot always see a car and to keep well clear of them as they are known to drop containers from time to time.Scary being in the office and see big forks driving at speed with loaded containers. IE you cut your hand, approprate gloves have to be worn at all times by all employees. We have, for the last ten or more years, had to wear safety glasses at all times except in a vehicle or an office. That doesn't sound too bad if there is only 25 employees, but when there are thousands, it's a costly exercise and a PIAI was told yesterday knives are not to be used on site unless the supervisor has deemed it to be the ONLY way to do the job.
