I've never like whitegoods cars...

Until I saw a Cobra.

The white and blue strpies is the pick.

I like orange, but am disappointed with blood orange in the flesh. The paint has no lustre or depth, especially after looking at a Phantom. Ithought it would look less like mustard in dull light.

l know what you mean, l couldnt live with a white GT unless it had stripes. The cobra look is classic and it suits the GT.

Blood Orange does change a lot in different light and can look dull in certain light, its non metallic and l guess that has a lot to do with what you describe. Most of the time it looks the part so l can live with it B)

A Blood Orange GT with stripes passed me on the way home, I have to say that it looks awesome in the flesh. Didn't like the stripes in the pics....

Good choice Mondie :innocent:

My wife liked your comment Cro!

l wanted white with stripes, she the Orange. The colour in that FPV photo is really bad, the original is even worse than what l posted as l enhanced it a little. Blood Orange is a lot nicer than in that shot. :banghead:

Nah mate, its a lost cause. She has always wanted a white car and up until now l have never been up for it. Then l seen a photo of a white GT with stripes and thought yep, l like that, finally we will agree on white.

But womens logic being what it is, she thought it looked like a macleans car (yes, as in the toothpaste :ermm: ) She's not really into cars and their heritage so the fact that it was a traditional Ford colour combo, the Cobra etc blah blah made no difference. Fickle women

Who want's to look like a Cobra? It's the year 2003! Do they do white with black stripes?

Come on 'Oh Ghost Who Walks'....... If someone offered you a GT40 in White and Blue the first words past your lips would be " Who do I have to KILL!!!!"

Well, they would be if it was offered to me :D

And was'nt red with black stripes the livery for some old performance Fords,... 'Shakers' I think they were called. :ermm:
