However yes I know they got power but I've heard that they had build issues such as rust in the firewalls and the turbos failing. Does anyone know of these build issues? I'm a Diesel Mechanic by trade, so simple engines fixes I can do but I don't want to be heaving the thing out, nor do I want to be doing panel work. I've looking at ones with around 88k on the clock. Cheersdont buy a 5 speed man as there not up to the jobgo auto or 6 speednever heard of the firewall issue, and mild tuning they stay very reliable.like any car if you chase big power than you get big bills. I know a standard 6 or 8 could put 300000kms+ on an engine but will a turbo engine last that long? Are there any engines that have got high kms that ppl know of with turbo failure?
